I must admit, I am not a very organized person. I have things, stuff and junk everywhere. My husband, on the other hand, likes our belongings to be cataloged and in their place. I’ll find boxes sprouting up around the house at any given moment especially designed to collect such clutter. When I see a new one appear, I know it’s a subtle hint to get my “organization” on….
My New Favorite Sewing Table
I can’t believe I finally found time to sit down and put together a blog post! I tell ya, February is a crazy month around here. I have three birthdays and four Valentines day parties to get through. Breathing is optional.
No seriously.
Just check out a little of the cake magic that has been occurring in our neck of the woods recently:…
Mudroom Makeover
Time for another remodeling project! I have to say, one of the big draws for me in buying this crazy old house was the potential for a mudroom. I hope to post pictures of the dining room and family room soon, but as it stands right now the dining room is a massive storage catch all for everything we packed up while the floors were being finished and the family room is about to get a complete furniture make over (woohoo!) so I thought I’d wait until it’s finished a bit more completely to share. You ready for this?
Behold, the New (Old) Home
Ok, remember how I mentioned that we bought this big ol’ foreclosure home last year that needed lots and lots of money and work? Well here it is. Home meet blog. Blog meet home.
I leaked a sneak peak of the completed kitchen on my Facebook page last week, but before I post all the detailed after photos I thought it might be fun to show what the spaces looked like before. After all, how am I going to share all the awesome projects we’ve been working on to bring it into the 21st century if you don’t see what we were given to start with? Saddle up, this is one heck of house.
